By using the CafeConnects website or app, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use CafeConnects.
Eligibility
You must be old enough to legally use CafeConnects in your jurisdiction and provide accurate information when creating an account or submitting a form on this site.
Acceptable use
CafeConnects exists to help people build meaningful, real-world connections. You agree to be honest in your profile, show up for meetings you book, treat other members with respect, and only meet at verified partner cafés — never a private address. Full community guidelines are described in our Safety Guide.
Café partner terms
Café partners agree to a separate partnership agreement covering subscription terms, provided during the registration and onboarding process. These Terms & Conditions govern general website and app use; the partnership agreement governs the business relationship.
Intellectual property
The CafeConnects name, logo, and platform content are owned by CafeConnects. You may not use them without our permission.
Limitation of liability
CafeConnects verifies member identity and requires meetings at public venues, but we cannot guarantee the conduct of other members. Use your judgment when meeting anyone new, and report any concern immediately through the app.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to CafeConnects for anyone who violates these terms or our community guidelines.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which CafeConnects operates.
Changes to these terms
We’ll update the “Last updated” date above whenever these terms change, and post the updated version here.
